Associate Professor Masahiro Kurata and Jasmine Gipson (Ph.D.) presented their research results at the 12th National Conference on Earthquake Engineering (2022.6.27-2022.6.30). The conference is a major international conference in seismic engineering jointly organized by the Earthquake Engineering Society in North American countries. Our group gave three oral presentations on the results of our work regarding the E-Defense test in 2020, including the analysis of experimental data from the hospital shake table and the results of a blind analysis contest. Only Associate Professor Kurata traveled to the U.S. this time due to the COVID-19 travel restriction.
