Prof. Khalid Mosalam of the University of California, Berkeley, stayed in our lab for two months from November 2023 to January 2024.
He held discussions and seminars with laboratory members and shared his knowledge of cutting-edge research on disaster science, including AI-based natural language processing.
He stayed in Uji 19 years ago, and his son, who was 4 years old at the time, and his daughter, who was 3 months old at the time, also stayed in Uji with his wife.
