The annual conference of the Architectural Institute of Japan was held at Kyoto University. Many students from our laboratory, including Professor Ikeda and Associate Professor Kurata, participated in the conference.
Since the conference was held at Kyoto University, Professor Ikeda, who chaired the publicity committee, was very busy, and students also served as venue attendants and camera operators. Associate Professor Kurata also spoke at the research conference on “Reviewing the Records of the Great Kanto Earthquake / Report on the Emergency Survey of the Turkey-Syria Earthquake,” organized by the Disaster Research Council.
