The 30^th DPRI Public Lecture series was held at the Campus Plaza Kyoto, Kyoto Station, Kyoto, Japan on 24^th September 2019. The theme of the 30^th Session was “Managing disasters ~ Preparing to live flexibly even after a disaster ~”. Prof. Yoshiki Ikeda gave a talk entitled “Earthquake-Resistant, Base-Isolation and Protective Systems: Self-Help in Building Structures”.
